Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor for WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In the following years, she worked as a the morning news anchor as well as a the crime reporter at WCBD TV. Her articles from Charleston on how Charleston police dealt with DUI cases with care, resulted in an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division.
